If you want to cancel your membership of the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland, please do so using this form. Using the form speeds up and facilitates the cancellation process.

Please note the following:

If your membership fee is paid through the payroll, be sure to notify your employer of the cancelation of your membership and the fee. However, make sure that your employer collects the fee until the end of the membership period.

A final invoice for any unpaid membership fees will be sent in conjunction with the confirmation of the cancelation of membership. The membership fee must always be paid for the entire membership period.

The insurance policies included in your membership expire on the last day of your membership.

Unless you indicate otherwise, your membership will end on the last day of the month in which you have notified us of your decision to cancel your membership. Payment of the membership fee will also end at the end of the month in which you cancel your membership. Membership of the union cannot be canceled retroactively.

You can choose the cancellation date from the end of the current month to a maximum of six months ahead.
Unemployment fund membership
If you are a member of an unemployment fund, please tell us what you intend to do regarding membership of the fund. If you are a member of the KOKO fund or the JATTK fund through the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland, information on this is provided in the members’ section of the fund’s website or in your membership fee invoice.
